Maestro Brown and Orion Weiss take you on a musical journey to the land of the midnight sun. Danish composer Carl Nielsen's Helios Overture sings a hymn to the dawn. Norwegian Edvard Grieg's Piano Concerto opens with one of the most recognizable moments in classical music and proceeds on to a lyrical, magical conclusion. We finish with Finnish composer Jean Sibelius' Fourth Symphony which explores the starkest and iciest parts of the Nordic countries — as well as human experience.
