Changing lives through music.

Nowhere can the Alabama Symphony Orchestra’s mission be seen more clearly than through our wide array of Education Programs. Whether it’s a preschooler seeing a full orchestra for the first time, a classroom discovering that music can make learning fun, or a high school cellist coming face-to-face with Yo Yo Ma, the young lives we change today will be the audience of tomorrow.

We believe that music has the power to inspire young lives and improve learning for students of all ages. The ASO is dedicated to bringing young people in our community the great musical experience that they deserve. Education Concerts for students of all grade levels are a thrilling introduction to the full Alabama Symphony Orchestra. In-School Programs put our world-class Musicians up close and personal with kids. Programs for Young Musicians, including the newly formed Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra, give dedicated young instrumentalists the opportunity to learn from the best.

MANY THANKS TO OUR ASO EDUCATION PARTNERS!
